Our Director
Director Jackalene (Jackie) Antunes administers Wally’s House with the guidance of her Board of Directors. Jackie comes to Wally’s House from a background working in residential treatment facilities in Texas, training in three different treatment models. She also worked as the Behavior Specialist for Riley Creek School, running the Time Out/Detention Program, and spent six and a half years as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Curry County Juvenile Department. While at the Juvenile Department, she covered the county’s medium-risk caseload.
Jackie has volunteered in Curry County’s CASA Program and Gold Beach High School’s ASPIRE Program and has enjoyed the outlet the Curry County Master Gardeners’ training and the Gold Beach Quilt Guild have offered. Jackie is a member of Soroptimist International of Gold Beach and has served on their board as Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President in charge of Programs.
Children and their well-being are Jackie’s passion! Her greatest passion and pride in life have been her family and raising her daughter and son to adulthood with her husband, Tony.
Working at Wally’s House is the pinnacle of her passion and fulfillment. She delights in offering children a safe place to tell their story, and receive comfort advocacy, and begin their journey to healing.
