Wally‘s House receives a grant from The Oregon Community Foundation Wally’s House is the recipient of a $25,000.00 grant from The Oregon Community Foundation to hire an administrative assistant to assist in serving child victims of abuse and their families, in Curry County. The mission of Wally’s House is: To provide prevention of child abuse and neglect for all children, while ensuring intervention and advocacy for those who are suspected victims of abuse, for their support and healing. 

The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve lives for all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds, OCF awarded more than $108 million in grants and scholarships in 2016. 

The Foundation makes grants through an application process that involves local citizens in the review and evaluation of requests for funds. Application materials are available through the Foundation’s Portland office.
